Social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest have ushered in visual marketing as the breakout trend for 2012. When it comes to their products, businesses are learning to show, not tell, and visual content sites are fueling our desire for beautiful photography and sensational design. Two years ago, marketers were spreading the maxim that “content is king,” but now, it seems, “a picture really is worth a thousand words.”

Early birds get all the credit. Research indicates that morning people tend to be more active and goal oriented, and such larks as Steve Jobs, Craig Newmark of Craigslist, and 25-year old David Karp, founder of the Tumblr blogging platform suggest that climbing the ladder ofsuccess is easier before breakfast.
Sometimes the smallest of things can make all the difference. With everyone trying to customize their iPhone these days, it is not necessary that you apply a whole new theme to your iDevice to make it stand out, even a relatively small tweak like LabelEnhancer can do the trick. The functionality offered by LabelEnhancer might appear to be a bit insignificant in some people’s eyes, but you can’t deny the fact that the tweak is really unique. Using LabelEnhancer, you can change everything about the labels of apps on your jailbroken iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. The tweak offers options to change the font, color, size and shadow style of app labels. The choice of colors available in LabelEnhancer is unlimited, as you can use predefined colors or define your own RGB values.

The wild success of the iPhone isn’t any secret anymore. The sales figures speak for themselves, the unprecedented interest level in the next iPhone paints its own picture, and the fact that iPhone sales generate more cash than all of Microsoft’s products and services put together proves just how big of a smash hit Apple has on their hands with their iOS-powered smartphone. It isn’t just one thing that captures the imagination of users when it comes to the iPhone, the whole package manages to pull the punters in and that doesn’t sWe have already seen during an Apple keynote just how popular the embedded camera on the iPhone is. The late Steve Jobs loved to tell us that the most popular camera for uploading images to the Flickr network was that of the iPhone 4 and with the improvements made in the 4S, the popularity has significantly grown. Although the camera hardware on the iPhone is pretty impressive and the Camera app itself has also grown with recent updates of iOS to include things like native HRD features and in-album editing, it still doesn’t have all of the features that a true photography fan would want and need

If you go over to the Google Search homepage and hover your cursor over the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button, something pretty cool happens. The button starts spinning like a slot machine before stopping at a random completion of the phrase, “I’m feeling…” Then, you click the button to experience some related corner of the online Google empire.
Select “I’m Feeling Wonderful,” for example, and you’re whisked away to some part of Google’s World Wonders Project, which highlights fascinating cultural sites from around globe. “I’m Feeling Trendy” takes you to the Hot Searches page, which shows the topics and stories that are trending online. “I’m Feeling Stellar” brings up image search results for the Orion Nebula. And so on.
Fair warning, though — you might get hooked and it’s a major temptation for procrastination. But the Doodle-y pastime isn’t just addictive. It’s smart, too. Think about it: What better way to pimp the vast array of services, tools and pure randomness Google offers its online users? I wasn’t super familiar with the World Wonders Project, for example — but may well go back for some enlightening entertainment later.
